Consider the benefits of a high-efficiency tankless water heater before you replace your storage heater.

• Take up less space. The unit mounts on a finished wall. Its compact design takes up far less space than a traditional storage tank water heater. That leaves you with a little more floor space in the home for other things.
• Reduce stand-by costs. A tankless heater only heats water when  it is used. During vacations and weekends away, you won't waste energy keeping water heated in a storage tank that no one is using.

A high-efficiency unit has no thermal heat loss because it doesn't have a tank and vents directly to the outside with a fan operation rather than a chimney which is constantly drafting.
